Great Resources to Build Your Skills Online.

Knowledge is power! Here are five resources to help you stay on top of changes in the business world.

In recent months, there’s been a rise in the number of resources shared online to help people working from home and those experiencing time away from work. These resources range from developing professional skills and learning more about the industry they work in, to changing roles or career paths, and hearing from others in similar situations.

Continuing education has become an expectation in most career paths, so to help, we’ve curated a list of free resources. There’s something for everyone, and some specific content unique to the unfamiliar world we’re now living in.

Agile Alliance

Lean Coffee™ is a structured but agenda-less meeting hosted by Agile Alliance communities around the world. Participants come together to create their own agenda based on questions and desired discussion points on the chosen topic. These meetings rely on nothing more than people showing up wanting to learn, create and discuss Lean techniques. Organized by SaskTel employee Khurshid Akbar, meetings are currently hosted online and anyone is welcome to join Saskatchewan’s Agile Alliance sponsored community groups Agile Regina Meetup and Saskatoon Agile Meetup.

On July 28, Wayne Heatherington will host Starting and Stopping Your Mind, a meeting based around what goes on in our minds when needing to turn them on and off for specific tasks and meetings throughout the work day. You can listen to past event recordings here and don’t forget to check out the Agile Regina Meetup and Saskatoon Agile Meetup pages to see what events are being added in the future.

Touching on topics such as the future of sales and sales management in a post-Covid-19 world and strategies that will outlive the pandemic, this webinar will give you a chance to listen to other business owners and experts about the ways in which this pandemic may change our sales teams for the better.
